How more people can find One Stop Group
Since June 8 the site has had 1,521 visitors, and Google sends it about 12 visits a month. Here are 11 proposed changes, most important first. The After images are mockups, and nothing has changed on your live site or Google profile.
1Fix the Google profile category and phone
Before

After

Google uses the primary category to decide which searches a profile can appear in. Right now you are filed as a real estate consultant, so "mortgage broker near me" has little reason to show you. The site leads with financing and closing, and the two should match. A local number ties you to the area better than an 866 line. Once it's set, copy the same name, address and phone to Zillow, Homes.com, Yelp and BBB, because mismatched listings make Google less sure who you are. If real estate earns more than loans, keep real estate as primary and add Mortgage broker second.

2Say New Jersey and mortgage up front
Before
Buy, sell, finance, and close — One Stop Group handles residential and commercial property end to end. Serving all 50 states.

After
Mortgages, buying, selling and title with one team. Based in Englishtown, NJ, serving all 50 states. English, Português, Español.

The slogan describes you well to someone who already knows you, and it gives Google nothing to match. "New Jersey" appears on none of your main pages, and "all 50 states" pits you against national lenders you can't outrank. Naming your home state gives you a race you can win without giving up out-of-state work. This is the top of the Google result and the first thing a visitor reads, so it's the cheapest change with the widest reach. Keep "all 50 states" only if your licensing supports it.

3Publish the address and social links
Before
Business type: Financial service Area served: United States Address: none Social and Google links: none
After
Business type: Financial service, real estate agent Area served: New Jersey, United States Address: 45 CR-520 Ste 207, Englishtown, NJ 07726 Links: Instagram, Facebook, Google profile
Your Google profile says Englishtown, and your site never does. Google has to connect the two to trust the listing, and the matching address on every page is how it does that. The hidden data block below the footer tells search engines the same thing in a form they read directly. Links to Instagram and Facebook do the same job, and they give the people arriving from Instagram, your largest traffic source, a way back. The address is already public on your Google profile, so nothing new is exposed.

4Give each loan type its own page
Before

After

Before: /itin-mortgage-new-jersey

After: /itin-mortgage-new-jersey

Google ranks pages, not companies. Your FAQ says ITIN, DSCR and bank statement loans are a specialty, but those words sit in one answer on the homepage, so nothing can rank for them. Competitors have dedicated pages for these. People searching "ITIN mortgage New Jersey" are close to a decision, so a small number of these visits is worth more than a lot of general traffic. Each page should answer who qualifies, what to bring and how long it takes. The wording here is a sample, and a loan officer has to approve program details.
I draft, a loan officer approves
5Add Portuguese and Spanish versions
Before

After: /pt

This is the one thing most New Jersey lenders can't copy. Your team works in three languages, but that appears as one small line on the homepage, and no page exists in either language. Someone searching in Portuguese can't find an English page. In a sample Portuguese search on Brave, the top results were Facebook and YouTube, not lender pages, so there's room. It also fits how people choose a lender for a big decision: in the language they think in. A native speaker on the team should review every line before it goes live.
I draft, the team reviews
6Make the car show a public page
Before: hidden from Google

After: public page

This is your most visited page, with 861 views, and Google is told to ignore it. It's a sign-in form, so hiding it makes sense, but the event has no other home. Car club sites already link to it, and those are the only outside links of any size you have, so their value goes nowhere. A public page keeps that value, can show up for local car show searches, and can display the date right in Google. The sign-in form stays as it is. This only pays off if the show runs again, so I need the dates.

7Ask reviews to name service and town
Before: a real review line
John is the best to work with.
Warm, but no service or town
After: a real review line
Had a flawless experience with Danny and his team when purchasing my home.
The ask: "If you leave a review, would you mention what we helped with and your town? Honest is what matters."
A 5.0 rating is excellent, and 26 reviews is the number to grow. Google reads the words in reviews, so "refinance in Freehold" helps you show up for that search in a way "great guy" can't. Ask every client after closing, never only the happy ones. Google bans picking who gets asked, and you can't offer anything in return or write the review for them.
The team, as a habit after each closing
8Add a few real town pages
Before: /newark

After: /newark

Near your office, Freehold and Manalapan already show up in your visitors, and Newark is your top city, though internet routing can inflate that figure. Town pages let you compete where the Maps results can't reach. I'd stop at three to five, and only where the team has real deals and stories, which is what the bracketed spots are for. Pages that just swap the town name can be treated as spam, so a dozen thin ones would do more harm than good.
I draft, the team supplies the local detail
9Record where every sign-in came from
Before: HubSpot contact
Came from (blank) Visit type (blank) First page (blank)
After: HubSpot contact
Came from Instagram Visit type Paid ad First page /cars-coffee-closings
None of your 204 real contacts since June has a source recorded, because only the Get Started form sends one and event sign-ins are most of them. So you can't tell whether the Instagram ads paid for themselves. This doesn't bring in traffic, but it tells you which of the items on this page are working and where to spend.

10Clean up duplicate and broken addresses
Before
www.onestopgroup.usa full second copy of the site- Test and hosting addresses Google can find them
/contact,/contact-uspage not found/privacy-policypage not found/titlepage not found- Homepage on a phone main image takes 5.2 seconds
After
www.onestopgroup.ussends visitors to onestopgroup.us- Test and hosting addresses hidden from Google
/contact,/contact-ussends visitors to Get Started/privacy-policysends visitors to the privacy page/titlethe new title page- Homepage on a phone phone-sized images, about 400 KB lighter
None of this is why traffic is low, so it sits near the bottom. It does keep everything you earn pointing at one address. A fifth of visitors already land on www, and Google shouldn't have to pick between copies of the site. People have typed /contact and hit a dead end, and with 76% of visitors on phones, a slow first image costs you the ones you do get. The 5.2 seconds comes from Google's simulated phone test, and the 400 KB is its estimate.

11Let AI assistants read the site
Before
- ChatGPT's crawler blocked
- Claude's crawler blocked
- Google's AI crawler blocked
- ChatGPT search, Perplexity allowed
After
- ChatGPT's crawler allowed
- Claude's crawler allowed
- Google's AI crawler allowed
- ChatGPT search, Perplexity allowed
People now ask assistants for lender recommendations, and a Cloudflare setting blocks the crawlers that feed them. A small local business gains more from being known than it loses from having public marketing pages read. The tradeoff is that this content can be used for AI training, so it's your call. It's last because it won't move traffic much on its own. Normal Google and Bing crawling isn't affected either way.
Your call, then a Cloudflare setting
